Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Firgun Travels, we strive to create memorable travel experiences while maintaining transparency and fairness in all our processes. This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all trips, retreats, expeditions, group departures, and travel services booked through Firgun Travels.
Refund Timelines
For bookings eligible for a refund, the refund amount will be processed in upto 60 working days from the date of cancellation or upon receiving confirmation and settlement from our partner suppliers, whichever is later.
Please note that refund amounts may vary due to:
Currency exchange rate fluctuations
Supplier cancellation charges
Payment status and amount received from the traveler
Bank processing fees, gateway charges, or taxes already incurred

Flights
Non-Refundable Flights
Flights marked as non-refundable are not eligible for any refund under any circumstances.
Refundable Flights
Refunds for refundable flight tickets will be processed as per the airline's cancellation policy and the terms shared in your final itinerary.
Important Flight Guidelines
Firgun Travels is not responsible for airline delays, cancellations, schedule changes, missed connections, or operational disruptions.
Any airline-issued refund will be subject to the airline's approval and timelines.
Travelers are responsible for ensuring that their passport, visa, and travel documents meet all requirements.
Boarding denial due to invalid, damaged, expired, or insufficient travel documentation shall not be eligible for any refund.
Travelers are advised to reach the airport at least 3 hours before departure for domestic and international flights as applicable.
Excess baggage charges, seat selection fees, meals, and airline add-ons must be paid directly by the traveler.
Certain low-cost airlines may require mandatory web check-in. Any penalties arising from failure to comply will be borne by the traveler.
Accommodation
Non-Refundable Stays
Accommodation booked under non-refundable rates cannot be cancelled or refunded.
Refundable Stays
Refund eligibility will depend on the cancellation terms applicable to the specific property and booking.
Important Accommodation Guidelines
Firgun Travels carefully selects accommodations but cannot guarantee specific room views, room numbers, staff behavior, or property amenities.
Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability and hotel policies.
Room upgrades or additional services requested during the stay must be paid directly by the traveler.
Voluntary changes to accommodation after booking confirmation may attract additional costs and cancellation charges.
Activities & Experiences
Activities, excursions, workshops, adventure sports, sightseeing experiences, and local experiences may be subject to separate cancellation policies.
Non-refundable activities are not eligible for any refund.
Refundable activities will be processed as per supplier and activity operator policies.
Weather-related or safety-related cancellations will be governed by the operator's terms and applicable refund policies.
Visa & Travel Insurance
Visa Services
Firgun Travels may assist with documentation and guidance for visa applications. However:
Visa approval or rejection is solely at the discretion of the respective embassy or consulate.
Visa fees, processing charges, and service fees are non-refundable.
Firgun Travels shall not be held responsible for visa refusals, delays, or changes in visa regulations.
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance, once issued, cannot be cancelled or refunded. Travelers are strongly encouraged to purchase adequate travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, baggage loss, and trip interruptions.
Transfers & Transportation
Transfers may include flights, trains, buses, tempo travellers, taxis, ferries, jeeps, local transport, or private vehicles.
Refund eligibility for transfers will be governed by the respective operator's cancellation policy.
Delays caused by weather, traffic, road closures, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or operational issues are beyond Firgun Travels' control.
No refunds shall be provided for missed transfers due to traveler delays or failure to report on time.
Group Trips & Community Travel
Firgun Travels specializes in community-based group travel experiences.
Trip leaders and coordinators reserve the right to make reasonable decisions in the interest of group safety, comfort, and overall trip experience.
Any traveler whose conduct is deemed disruptive, unsafe, abusive, intoxicated, or harmful to fellow travelers may be removed from the trip without any refund.
Travelers are expected to respect local cultures, fellow participants, accommodation staff, guides, and community members.
Force Majeure
Firgun Travels shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, itinerary modifications, or losses resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Extreme weather conditions
Landslides or road closures
Epidemics or pandemics
Government restrictions
Civil unrest or political disturbances
Strikes or transport disruptions
Acts of God
