McLeodganj, fondly known as Little Lhasa, holds a very special place in the Firgun story. This vibrant hill town, the spiritual home of the Dalai Lama is where culture, calm monasteries, cozy cafés, and colorful handicraft markets come together, overlooking the sweeping beauty of the Kangra Valley. For us, the journey truly begins with the Triund Trek, a beginner-friendly trail winding through oak and rhododendron forests, opening up to a breathtaking grassy ridge at the foot of the mighty Dhauladhar range. This was the very first trek our founder ever did, the moment that sparked the travel bug in her. Camping under a star-filled sky, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and endless views, this experience isn’t just a trip, it’s an invitation to feel that same sense of wonder, freedom, and joy that made us fall in love with travel in the first place.
